Marlyn B. Wilson, 93, formerly of Saegertown, Pa., passed away August 26, 2025,
at The Ohio Eastern Star, Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

He was born in Cranberry Township, Pa., on May 18, 1932, the son of the late George and Sylvia (McClain) Wilson wife
Dean (Krupski).

Marlyn was a 1951 graduate of Saegertown H.S. and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Talon (35 years), Systematic Tool, Saegertown Borough, and Wesbury, and was a member of First Christian Church, Meadville. He loved family, fishing, hunting, bird-watching, woodworking and a hot game of Bid 500.

Marlyn is survived by a daughter Correne (Michael) Bratten and their children Joel, Kelly, and Brian. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren (Lauren, Audrey and Ehren), a brother-in-law Clair Reichel, and 2 step-daughters Eleanor Geiger and Lynda Wasson.

Marlyn was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years Opal “Goldie” (Shiner), his second wife of 17 years Dean (Krupski), and his sister Arlene Reichel.

The family will have a private service in Sunbury, Ohio., and then travel to Meadville, Pa., where services and interment will take place at the Venango Cemetery.
