COLUMBUS — The former director of Riverside Recovery Services entered a plea of not guilty to 13 counts Wednesday during an arraignment in federal court.

Amy Smart was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Columbus on 13 charges — one count of healthcare fraud and 12 counts of healthcare false statements, which she was charged with in June.

Judge Norah McCann King conducted the court’s proceedings and ordered Smart be placed on bond and released, pending trial.
