Join Librarian Christie for a lively discussion of Octavia Butler’s classic novel, Parable of the Sowe from 11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 7th at the Mount Vernon Library. As in previous years, the Library will offer a limited number of complimentary box lunches to patrons who register in advance. Registration is open August 26-September 30th, 2025, but may close early if spots are filled. Patrons who bring their own lunch do not need to register, and are welcome to attend!
