MOUNT VERNON — Two Mount Vernon men were indicted separately for allegedly conveying drugs onto a detention facility’s grounds during the Knox County Grand Jury’s most recent session.
Micah S. Knipp allegedly conveyed or attempted to convey illegal drugs of abuse onto the Knox County jail’s grounds, a third-degree felony, on or about Aug. 8.
Also on Aug. 8, Frankie A. Perez allegedly conveyed or attempted to convey illegal drugs of abuse onto the Knox County jail’s grounds, a third-degree felony.
According to Knox County Common Pleas Court online records, Knipp is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 4 and Perez on Sept. 19, both before Judge Richard Wetzel.
