Rowena S. Horn, age 67, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 13, 1957, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Theodore and Mary (Gray) Wolfe. Rowena was a 1975 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and retired in 2024 after more than twenty years of dedicated service with Sanoh.
Rowena enjoyed spending time at home, but she also liked traveling with her family, most importantly the trips to New York and Myrtle Beach. She will be remembered as a devoted and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Fawcett of Columbus, Kendra Fawcett of Mount Vernon, Keith (Nicky) Fawcett of Mount Vernon, five grandchildren, Tiara Drouhard, Madeleine Fawcett, Michael Fawcett, Dream Virgili, Legend Virgili, seven great grandchildren, Ryder Owens, Keoni Van Houten, Adrien Drouhard, Kashton Drouhard, Raeghan Johnson, Daxton Johnson, baby girl Johnson, two sisters, Renee Ferenbaugh of Mount Vernon, May Ann Davis of Memphis, Tennessee and her significant other, Rick Spearman. She is also survived by her canine companions, Maggie and Teddy.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Legacy Fawcett.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050, where friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Rowena’s name may be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter, 285 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
