Shirley A. Talbott, 75, of Mount Vernon passed away on July 22, 2025, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born on September 28, 1949, to Merle J. and Mildred I. (Gleason) Premer of Mansfield, OH.
Shirley loved playing Euchre and Monopoly Deal. In her younger years she was an excellent pool player and won many tournaments. Shirley enjoyed listening to her favorite band The Eagles. She liked ice cream very much and always had a freezer full at home. Shirley loved spending time with her family, playing basketball and wiffle ball. She was a great cook, and she liked making steak and eggs for her grandkids. Shirley was an animal lover, her favorite pets Austin 2, Buffy and Grizzly are excited to see her in heaven.
Shirley is survived by her children Kevin (Christina) Talbott of Mount Vernon, OH, Carrie (Mark) Frazier of Mount Vernon, OH; grandchildren Nathan Talbott, Ryan (Olivia Hamann) Singrey, Austin (Joyce Russell) Billman, Gage Talbott, Danielle (Bre) Davis, Kristen (Tyler) Frazier, Kaitlyn (Cody) Smith; great-grandchildren Ariana, Miley, Deveree, Skylan, Clementine, Liliana, Izzy, Gabi, Reese, Ryleigh, Landon, Mason, Hudson; family friend and card club member Norman Domsic.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Lou Premer.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
