James “Jim” Reynolds, age 94, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully July 23rd. Formerly of Galion, Centerburg and Westerville, OH. Longtime member of Centerburg Church of Christ. He was a 1949 Graduate of Centerburg High School.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean War.
He retired from Galion Iron Works (Dresser).
Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth (Linkous) Reynolds; daughter, Sarabeth Smith; sister, Marlena Jordan and parents, J. Roscoe and Grace Reynolds.
Survived by son, Scott (Shannon) Reynolds; 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Frank (Audi) Reynolds, Ned (Barb) Reynolds, Joe (Crystal) Reynolds and sister, Mary Lou Milligan and numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Glenna Pearler.
Friends may call at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday, the 26, from 9-10:30 a.m. A funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tony Liuzzo officiating. Graveside service to follow at Rich Hill Cemetery with Pastor Roger Crego officiating.
