MOUNT VERNON — Nine defendants were sentenced in July in Knox County Common Pleas Court.
Joshua Fincher, of Mansfield, was sentenced to a definite 20-month sentence on operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and 160 days for failure to stop after an accident to be served concurrently. According to court filings, Fincher’s attorney John Dankovich motioned for an appointment of appellant counsel on June 27.
Fincher was credited 144 days toward his sentence. The court also imposed a mandatory operator’s license suspension for five years from June 12, 2025.
Nathan R. Johnson, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control for a failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer and serve 180 days in the Knox County Jail with 58 days credited, suspended if he completes the Mended Reeds Residential Treatment Program, among other requirements.
Elmer E. Riffe, of Columbus, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on a conviction for tampering with evidence. Riffe was credited with 70 days toward his sentence.
Alize G. Johnson, of Columbus, was sentenced to 17 months in prison on a gross sexual imposition conviction. Johnson was credited 346 toward his sentence. Johnson was determined to be a tier one sex offender/child victim offender registrant.
James McClanahan, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. McClanahan was also ordered to serve 250 days in the Knox County Jail, with 86 days served, among other requirements.
Jade N. Eberhardt, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to a six-year to nine-year prison sentence on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Eberhardt was also sentenced to a definite 24-month prison sentence on a possession of a fentanyl related compound conviction, to be served concurrently, with Knox County Common Pleas Court case 25CR03-0047. Eberhardt was credited 136 days toward her sentence.
Eberhardt was also sentenced to serve an indefinite six to nine-year prison sentence on a possession of conviction and an indefinite term of six to nine years on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. These will be served concurrently and concurrently with the sentence imposed in the Knox County Common Pleas Court case No. 25CR01-0020. Eberhardt was credited 94 days toward her sentence.
Larry F. Williamson Jr., of Fredericktown, was sentenced to one year of community control on an improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, forfeiture specification as to count one and aggravated assault convictions. He must also forfeit a Glock 42 to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and pay $3,289.19 in restitution to the alleged victim, among other requirements.
Korbin Stachler, of Danville, was granted intervention in lieu of conviction in an aggravated possession of drugs case.
Danniel D. Bowen, of Newark, was sentenced to one year of community control on a theft conviction, among other requirements.
