Betty L. Turner, age 91, of Mount Liberty passed away at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
She was born on January 13, 1934, in Mount Liberty to the late James and Dorothy Marie (Keller) Kessler. Betty was a member of the Willow Grove Advent Christian Church in Mount Liberty. She enjoyed crocheting Afghan blankets for her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with family at Lake Erie, shopping and eating out. But most of all, Betty loved the time she spent with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her sons, Trent (Noreen) Turner, Gene (Kathy) Turner, Brian (Sue) Katrein; her daughter Vicky (Jerry) Levings; twenty grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; her brothers James Donal (Jan) Kessler, Rickie Neil (Kathryn) Kessler; and her sisters Virginia Brooks, and Kim (Sam) Lopiccolo.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Gene Turner Sr, her daughter Lorena Rhinebolt; and her brother Kenneth Kessler.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Willow Grove Advent Christian Church from 10-11am. A service will follow beginning at 11am with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Burial will take place in Bloomfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
