Danita Jo Blain, age 62, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gallia, Ohio, on October 1, 1962, to the late William and Flowretta (Misner) Munn.
Danita owned and operated a video business, worked for restaurants, and was a hair stylist. She enjoyed canning foods, and people would fight over her strawberry jam. Most of all she loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren.
Danita is survived by her husband, Bobbie Blain; children, Joshua (Amber) Spitzer, Alex (Samantha) Blain, Shawn Blain, Kristina and Kimberly Blain; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Dave) Russell, Twila (Tom) Skinner.
Along with her parents, Danita is preceded in death by siblings, Ray Munn, Bob Munn, and Candy Mathena.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
