Ronald Mumaw, 80 years old passed into the arms of his Savior on May 9, 2025 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Mount Vernon after a struggle with Alzheimer’s. He was born July 2, 1944 at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio to Harry and Ruth Mumaw.
Ronald was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School class of 1962. He married the love of his life on November 6, 1964. He worked at Chattanooga Glass and the Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceutical Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Malani Wheeler and son-in-law, Doug Wheeler; granddaughter, Seanna Wheeler; sister-in-law, Diana Coykendall; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Mumaw; and a brother, Sonny Mumaw.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Fredericktown Chapel 33 East College St., Fredericktown. Inurnment will follow in Forest Cemetery.
