About the event:

Lizzie Evans, a native of Mount Vernon, launched her career as an actress in the 1880s.  She performed on Broadway, in large-scale theater productions throughout the United States and Canada, and on the Vaudeville circuit.  She even played at the Woodward Opera House during its original heyday.  For more than four decades, she was—if perhaps not a household name—at least a familiar one in cities all over the continent.  Yet she is nearly forgotten today…even in her hometown.

Cone learn more about her life and career.  We hope to see you there.
