MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury handed down 10 indictments in its most recent session.
One was Dominic Antonio McDonald, 29, of Mount Vernon, who was arrested by Knox County Sheriff’s deputies around 6:30 a.m. on March 27 after forcibly entering an Apple Valley residence, according to the sheriff’s office. McDonald was indicted for aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; and two domestic violence counts, both first-degree misdemeanors.
James T. Sarver, 38, of Shawnee, was indicted for third-degree felony burglary; receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
Matthew W. Will, 50, of Mount Vernon, third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs; illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor; and making false alarms, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Brandon M. Hess, 42, of Mount Vernon, was indicted for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony; strangulation, a fifth-degree felony; domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Christopher M. Sharp, 50, of Fredericktown, was indicted for improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Cody A. Goossens, 45, of Howard, was indicted for having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony.
Paul D. Rhodes, 41, of Mount Vernon, was indicted for having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony.
Daniel B. Morehouse, 57, of Mount Vernon, was indicted for having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony; and forfeiture specification as to count one.
Jessica R. Mantel, 38, of Mount Vernon, was indicted for possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Heather M. Walters, 39, of Fredericktown, was indicted for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony; resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor; obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
