James C. “Bo” Ruhl, 90, of Fredericktown passed away on Tuesday, April 1,2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on April 28, 1934 in Mount Vernon to the late Ralph W. Fletcher and Thelma Reed.
Bo retired from the Tappan Company in Mansfield for over 40 years. Bo and his wife, Beverly, enjoyed attending their grandkids’ sporting events. They barely missed a game or important chapter of their family members lives. Everyone that knew Bo, understood how much pride he had in his yard looking nice, and his breakfast spots he would frequently go too. When Bo had the time, he enjoyed deer hunting, mushroom hunting, cutting wood, and taking his wife on car rides.
Bo is survived by his son, James H. Ruhl of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Katie (Brodhi) Steel of Fredericktown and Curtis Ruhl of Fredericktown; a great granddaughter, Ana Steel of Fredericktown.
In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Ruhl on June 24, 2023; sisters, Betty Shaffer, Darlene Brown and Mary Lou Carpenter; and brothers, Clarence Ruhl and Willard Ruhl.
The family will observe a private service at a later date.
