Tyler Jennings Schlairet, age 34, of Howard, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on November 27, 1990, in Mount Vernon to Beverly (Jones) Roscoe and James P. Schlairet Jr.
Tyler had so many friends who were like brothers and sister’s to him that there is not enough room to list them all. Just know that if you knew Tyler, he considered you one of them. Tyler loves cars, and he had too many to count, loud music had to be involved. Every car that he had was his dream car, if you know, you know. People often called him a momma’s boy, we would laugh and he would always say he was good with that. Tyler loved fiercely, especially his brothers Timmy and Ayden. One of the best times in his life was his road trip across the country with his brother Timmy, and I am so happy that they had that time, another was when Ayden took all of the Christmas presents and opened them, we had to re wrap Tyler’s because he just couldn’t believe he wasn’t going to be able to tear his gifts open (he was 17), again if you know, you know. Way too many memories to list. Tyler loves his Burger King Family, and to him they truly were a family. He liked to go fishing, shoot guns and play video games with his buddies. There is not enough room to write everything that Tyler was, it would be easier to say that he was the sun rising in the morning, the sun setting in the evening and all of the light in between. I hope he knows how many loved him, and how PROUD I am of the man he was. We will all miss you and love you more than you could know.
Tyler is survived by his dad, James P. Schlairet Jr. and his mother and stepdad, Beverly (Bob) Roscoe; brothers, Tim Schlairet, Ayden Norrick, Brandon Urban, and Lee Seavolt; sister, Gabrielle Norton; very special friend, Kara Lynn Matheny; along with numerous, aunts, uncles, extended family and close friends.ny
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Mary Schlairet, Herschel and Beverly Jones Sr.
