Virginia Ann Tomlinson, age 86, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 23, 1938, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Annie Ruth (Stewart) Bookout.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lori (Bob) Troyer; son, Doug (Teresa) Tomlinson; four grandchildren, Lacey (Jake) Fishero, Manda DePlacito, Ryan (Melissa) Tomlinson and Dustin Tomlinson; a brother, Jerry (Pat) Bookout; a sister, Tina (Don) McCurry; seven great-grandchildren; along with one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Tomlinson, brother, Glenn Bookout and a sister-in-law, Mary Bookout.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Where a memorial service will follow the calling hours and 5:00 PM.
