MOUNT VERNON – The Kokosing Valley Arts Alliance is excited to invite the pubic to the second annual benefit for the Summer Front Porch Concert Series, SUMMER SONGS: Music from the Front Porch at the Woodward Opera House on Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m.
Get ready to experience an unforgettable event that will get your toes tapping.
The upcoming fundraiser for the Summer Front Porch Concerts is set to take the stage at the iconic Woodward Opera House in Downtown Mount Vernon.
You’ll be treated to soul-stirring performances by some of the most talented musicians around, full of captivating summer sounds. Don’t miss out on this electrifying evening of music and support of the arts in your community.
Mary Miller will host the evening with the following performing artists featured: Side Effects, Fat Tuesday, Six Miles to Nellie, Sara Goslee Reed, Slight Halo, These Things Too, Brad Oviatt, Stevie Eyer, Sawmill Joe, Savanna Shai, Kacy Sommers, Desmond Wall, Michelle Stoneburner, Matthew T. Starr, Chris Gantt and John Brenneman.
In addition to grooving to some fantastic music, attendees can be a part of a great cause.

The Summer Front Porch Concert series kicked off in 2023, bringing music to porches on East High Street in Mount Vernon on the third Fridays in June, July, and August.
The series has grown in size and popularity since its inception, and due to its growth, the Front Porch Committee formally established a non-profit organization, Kokosing Valley Arts Alliance, to put on such community events well into the future. Save the date(s) for this year’s Summer Concert Series on June 20, July 18, and Aug. 15.
