Yvonne Lee, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her home in Fredericktown after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was an active member of the Connection Church in Columbus for over 30 years, where she was the youth group leader as well as the music director for several years. Yvonne worked for the City of Dublin in the finance department and before that she was the part-owner in her cookie store, Sweets by Lori-Lee. She had a love for music, baking and especially traveling. Yvonne has been to every state in the United States with the exception of Oregon; most of those on motorcycle trips with her close friends from Fredericktown. She has even traveled around the world to multiple countries. Her plan after retirement was to continue her love of traveling but life as always had different plans. Instead, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren and sunsets at the farm.
Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Patrick Lee; her son, Allen and daughter-in-law, Heather; granddaughters, Bethany and Kaitlyn, and her mother Margie McElroy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Where a memorial service will follow the calling hours and 6:00 PM.
