MOUNT VERNON — Lifepoint Church extends its heartfelt gratitude to Food for the Hungry for their generous $2,500 donation to the Backpacks of Hope program.
This contribution has made it possible to provide essential weekend meals for elementary school children facing food insecurity in the community.
The Backpacks of Hope program ensures that children who rely on school meals during the week have access to nutritious food over the weekend.
Thanks to Food for the Hungry’s generosity, students will receive the nourishment they need to thrive.
