HOWARD — East Knox FFA officers Mackenzie Wilson, Blake Elliott, and Aiden Kapper recently received gold ratings on their respective 2024-2025 chapter officer books that were evaluated at the District 7 evaluation for their State FFA rating.

East Knox FFA Secretary Mackenzie Wilson, Treasurer Blake Elliott, and Reporter Aiden Kapper each had perfect scores of 105 out of 105 to go along with their gold ratings.

East Knox was one of only four FFAs in District 7 to have all three officers rate gold with perfect scores.

The chapter officer book competition is an activity on the state FFA level to encourage chapter officers to keep complete and accurate chapter records.

Each of these three members will receive a gold pin representing their office on stage at the 97th Ohio FFA Convention held in May at the Ohio Exposition Center and State Fairgrounds in Columbus.

The current system of FFA officer book evaluation started in 2001 and except for one silver rated book East Knox FFA has had all three officers rate gold in the state every year since then.
