More than 60 people attended the library's Big Read kickoff

MOUNT VERNON — More than 60 people attended the recent National Education Association’s Big Read Kickoff. at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County.

“I think it’s great when the broader community gets a glimpse of what we’re doing,” said Jamie Lyn Smith-Fletcher, deputy director of development for the library.”
