Patricia A. “Pat” Hogan, age 86, of Fredericktown, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on January 27, 1939, in Jackson, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Neal and Avis (Vreeland) Crapo.
Many years ago, my dad and mom packed up their little family and became missionaries on the tiny island of Bonaire in the Caribbean. They stayed for 19 years. Since then, they have resided in Ohio.
Our precious mom had many ministries and was most happy serving others! Anyone who has ever met her or were friends with her knew she lit up the room with her beautiful smile and laugh! She loved serving her Heavenly Father, her husband, and family. We know you are happy mom. You will surely be missed everyday of our lives. We WILL be reunited someday. We see you as the brightest shining light in Heaven! You were the BEST and most LOVING mom and wife! Our dad says: “God’s gift to me”!
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Denny Hogan; two daughters, Pam (Doug) Daniels and Renee (Robert) Kelly; three grandchildren, Jonathan Kelly, Matt (Danielle) Daniels and Nate (Devin) Daniels; seven great-grandchildren, Cole, Jacob, Charlee, Peter, Parker, Preston, and Piper; a brother, Sheldon (Kathy) Crapo, sister, Sue Enger; and a sister-in-law, May Dee Van de Veire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law, Gordon Enger and a sister-in-law, Gretchen Toles.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 – 1:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
