Charles A Cunningham age 76, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2025 at County Court Nursing Home under the care of Gentiva Hospice
He was born October 24,1948 in Mount Vernon, Ohio and was the son of the late Charles C. Cunningham and Catherine Twigg (Copeland).
Charles was a United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and was a retired carpet layer.
Chuck loved his family and getting together for the holidays. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old western movies and just hanging out listening to T- 100.3 radio, having a cold Miller Lite with family and friends. Chuck loved to watch his great grandchildren play ball and ride horses. He also enjoyed spending time with friends Travis, Donna and T.J from Gentiva Hospice care. He was a member of the VFW, Amvets Post 95, Moose lodge, and American Legion
Chuck is survived by three sons, Clayton, Charles and Chris Cunningham; a daughter Tammy and brother, Jeff and Debbie Cunningham and family, stepchildren, Phyllis Hagan (Chris), Herbert Sapp (Paula), and Judy Woosley, and many grand and great grandchildren.
Chuck is preceded in death by his wife of 40-years Priscilla Cunningham, brother, Dave Cunningham, stepdaughter, Carolyn Preece and stepson in law, Todd Woosley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel. Where a funeral will follow at 2:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 – 1:00 PM in Mound View Cemetery with military graveside honors conducted by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council.

A celebration of his life dinner will follow the burial on Wednesday at 2:00 PM – AMVETS Post 95, 311 S. Mechanic St., Mount Vernon, Ohio.
