Marilyn Scott, age 91, of Mount Vernon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 31, 2025.
She was born on March 13, 1933, in Mount Vernon and was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Waneta (Burris) Crawford.
She retired as a supervisor for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. Where she worked for 25 years. A couple of her hobbies she enjoyed were reading, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and David Shanabrook; stepdaughters, Jerri Knapp and Bonnie Scott; grandson, Brian (Lisa) Bower, and sister, Nancy Gentile.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Scott and a sister, Joanne Parker.
The family is observing private inurnment in Mound View Cemetery. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the services for the Scott family.
