Americans across races, places, and parties value our freedoms, and so we watched in horror as violent insurrectionists attacked our country on Jan. 6, 2020 incited by Trump and MAGA Republicans.
Now that the MAGA Justices on the Supreme Court aided Trump’s criminal conspiracy and paved his way back to power, Trump has used his pardon power to free the few people who were held accountable for breaking into our Capitol.
These rioters killed and maimed numerous police officers defending our nation’s capital and the rule of law.
These same rioters have now headed to their home communities all across America. And now, Trump is following through with his promise to go after his perceived enemies. He plans to weaponize the Department of Justice.
It’s time to turn our horror and disgust into action, joining together so we can protect our freedoms.
