E. Vernie Petrozino, age 84, of Howard, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 16, 1940, in Richwood, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Susan (Gardner) Wilson.
Vernie was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Leisa Petrozino of Mansfield and a son, Rick (Viola) Petrozino of Fredericktown; four grandchildren, Casey, Samantha, Cara, Emily; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Jayda, Nicole, Jazmin, Alayna, Everleigh; along with a brother, Ivan Wilson.
Vernie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Petrozino in 2010, and two brothers, Gene and Elgene Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday – 11:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville with Rev Father Matthew Morris as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
