Charity Rose Arndt Deckard, 47, of Danville passed away on Friday afternoon, January 17, 2025 at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on September 1, 1977 in Mount Vernon to the late David Arndt and Geraldine (Frost) Hawk.
Charity worked for several area businesses including, Walmart, FT Precision, and McDonalds to name a few. She enjoyed reading books, watching Scooby Doo, her cats and spending time with her family.
Charity is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Hunt; son, George Arndt; two grandchildren, Garett and Zaelynn; a brother, David (Amy Allen) Frost; a sister, Stephanie Carson; stepbrother, Gary Hawk Jr.; uncles, Steve and James Frost; and her extended family.
In addition to her parents, Charity was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Deckard; her stepfather, Gary Hawk Sr.; and a brother, George Arndt.
The family will have a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the American Legion Post in Fredericktown.
