CENTERBURG — Trevin Harris pumped in 24 points and Centerburg controlled the overtime to dump Danville 76-70 in a Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference boys basketball game on Friday night.
The Blue Devils jumped out to an early 15-7 first-quarter lead and led 31-25 at the half. Centerburg fought back to carry an 11-point lead into the fourth quarter, 44-33.
A tight fourth-quarter struggle left the Trojans and Danville tied at 62.
Four Trojans scored in double figures. Harris led the way with 24. Seniors Bennett Hill and Jack Lawrence each scored 16. Blane Ball contributed 12.
Junior Ashton Spaulding led the way for Danville with 20. Aiden Mickley added 18, junior Carson Proper 10.
The Trojans improved to 7-5 overall, 5-1 in the KMAC. Centerburg hosts Mount Gilead on Tuesday.
Danville drops to 4-8, 1-7. The Blue Devils welcome Mansfield Christian on Saturday night.
