Yvonne “Vaughn” Frost, 63, of Howard passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Patricia (Masters) Lankford.
Vaughn was a waitress for several restaurants over the years. She was an animal lover and was always there for family when they were in need. Vaughn took great pride and was honored to raise her grandson, Tony. She was a Catholic by faith.
Vaughn is survived by her daughters, Tiffiny (Shawn) Confessore and Sara Gray; stepchildren, Jeremiah Eugene (Kimberly) Frost and Erica Ann Frost; 10 grandchildren; her brother, Don Gray; and her canine companion, Henry.
In addition to her parents, Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Eugene Frost on June 6, 16, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel 619 East High St., Mount Vernon. A graveside service will follow the visitation in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Howard with Deacon Tim Birie from Saint John the Baptist Parish presiding.
