MOUNT VERNON — More than 200 came to The Woodward Opera House on Monday evening to enjoy Christmas cheer.
Although the rain outside was frightful, the opera house was delightful. Youngsters decorated cookies, made ornaments, and eagerly peeked into goodie bags from event partners.
Pictures with Santa, a story read by Mrs. Claus, and favorite songs of the season from the Dogwood Blossoms rounded out the activities.
