Eunice S. Brown, age 74, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Cumberland Gap, Virginia, on February 15, 1950, to the late James and Hannah (Gibson) Sowards.
Eunice attended New Life Community Church in Fredericktown for several years. She was a nurse’s assistant and worked at Riverside Methodist Hospital for over ten years. Eunice enjoyed reading and playing sports, most of all she loved being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Maynard Brown Jr; sons, Keith (Ree) Brown, Tim Brown; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
