Monica Wynona Frye, age 91, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1933, in Knox County Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Anna (Bartlett) Jackson. Monica retired as a financial assistant from PPG in Mount Vernon and previously worked for General Electric and IAC in Worthington, Ohio.
She was a member of Knox Chapter #236 Ohio Eastern Star in Mount Vernon, First Church of the Nazarene, Weaver Grange and Pomona Grange. Monica loved the Lord and took much enjoyment helping senior citizens with their insurance needs, as she volunteered many hours at the Ohio Eastern Star home. She loved animals and was most fond of her pet miniature Schnauzer dogs, Cricket, Buffer, Bean, Beau, Tangie and Baby.
She is survived by numerous cousins and preceded in death by her parents and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
