Thursday, December 12, at 4:00 PM marks a much-anticipated celebration: the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Pine Hill Independent Living, located on the campus of The Ohio Eastern Star Home, Knox County’s only non-profit Continuous Care Retirement Community. The concept for Pine Hill Independent Living was in development before the COVID-19 pandemic, making the opening of this much-needed senior living community over six years in the making.

The public is invited to the Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 4:00 PM, followed by a reception. You will be invited to tour the common spaces, a model apartment, and the dining building at Pine Hill. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to sign up for personal appointments with our Director of Sales and Marketing to learn more about living in this vibrant community.

Residents will begin moving into many of the 40 apartments starting January 2, 2025. Construction of 56 Patio Homes is set to begin in January, with occupancy expected over the next 6 to 18 months. All units will be available for rent. Apartments can be rented at any time, and deposits for patio homes can be made now to secure a specific location while the community continues to develop.
