Lois Jean Schoenberger-Moreland of Centerburg, Ohio died on November 9, 2024. She was 87 years old.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Ellen Olivia Brookover, Father Louis Russell Schoenberger, Sister Rose Marie Curtis, Step-son Tom Moreland.
Lois was born in Columbus,Ohio, and graduated from Central High School, and also attended Columbus State. She was a member of the Gay St. First Presbyterian Church, in Mt.Vernon,Ohio.
Lois is survived by her husband Gary L.Moreland, Sister Margery Love, Daughter Cynthia (Clint) Pearce, Son Carl (Laura) Sowers, Daughter Ellen (Wesley) Barnishan, Step-son Kyle (Mary) Moreland, Step-daughter Amie (Sam) Myers, 15 grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, special friend Sharon Lattimer, as well as many family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lois retired from General Electric Superabrasives in Worthington, Ohio. After her retirement, she and Gary enjoyed many years in Florida.
A service will be held on December 14, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Gay Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050, A social gathering will begin at 1:00pm followed by a remembrance service at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Lois requested donations be made in her memory to St. Judes Hospital.
