Dawn S. McCament, age 62, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on March 8, 1962, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Thomas E. and Janice (Coffman) Knox Sr.
Dawn recently retired from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center.
She is survived by her son, Jared McCament of Mount Vernon, daughter, Danielle (Jessie) McCament of Minnesota, brother, Thomas E. Knox Jr., fiancé, John Bryan all of Mount Vernon, nephews, Shaun Mulich of Florida and Mason Knox of Mount Vernon.
Besides her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Thayer in 2021.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel. Where funeral services will start at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
