DANVILLE — Danville’s Killbuck Savings Bank has a new look, and bank officials and employees are ready to celebrate.
The bank’s grand opening will be on Friday, Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 701 S. Market St.
“This newly renovated facility reflects our commitment to the community,” Killbuck President and CEO Rachel Miller said. “We appreciate the support we’ve received over the years, and we are here to stay.”
Marketing Director Paula Aurand said Killbuck Savings reimagined its partnership with Pittsburgh-based PW Campbell to provide better services and elevate the brand experience.

Renovations include a new exterior color and landscaping. The interior showcases a feature wall, a contemporary conference room, a renovated lobby, and new seating. New signage will soon arrive.
“We’re very proud of the new look and the refresh it gives everyone,” Aurand said. “It’s wonderful to walk in and have a brighter, fresher, cleaner look.”
The bank took over the building in 1998 when it merged with the Commercial & Savings Bank of Danville. According to the Knox County auditor’s website, the building was built in 1965.
Killbucks Savings Bank Co. is renovating its 13 branches over the next few years to give them a consistent appearance, signage, furniture, color schemes, and décor.
“We want to say a huge thank you to customers who lived through the renovation process,” Aurand said. “At one point, only the lobby was available, and it was in plywood.
“In the end, we only actually closed the branch for two weeks,” she said. “Thank you to everyone for helping us maintain the balance of banking throughout the process.
“Come in and see it. It is an amazing change.”
