Dr. Michael Casteel and registered nurse Vicki Kildoo will be the featured speakers at the Dec. 5 Doc Talk at Knox Community Hospital.

MOUNT VERNON — Join Knox Community Hospital for a free Doc Talk on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Dr. Michael Casteel will discuss all facets of podiatric care and when to see a podiatrist.

In addition, Vicki Kildoo, BSN, RN will highlight advanced wound healing modalities offered by the KCH Center for Wound Healing, and the two will discuss at-home diabetic foot care.

This event is open to the community and will be held in the 2nd-floor meeting room in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion (signage will be provided).

Casteel is a new asset to the KCH team. He is a graduate of Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.

He obtained his residency at Northside Medical Center in Podiatric Medicine and surgery training with reconstructive rear foot/ankle surgery certifications.

Kildoo, Director of the Center for Wounds Healing, has been with KCH for 10 years. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Columbus State Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University.

She has been in healthcare for 20 years and an RN for 16 years.
