CENTERBURG — Centerburg sophomore Miles Marshall was simply unstoppable against East Knox on Friday night.

Marshall racked up TD bolts of 38, 61 and 81 yards in the first quarter alone to stake his squad to a 20-0 lead.

He started the second period in similar fashion, sprinting away for a 44-yard score.

East Knox countered with Blake Elliott’s 1-yard TD plunge to make it 27-6 at halftime. But the Bulldogs wouldn’t score again.

Centerburg’s Blane Ball got loose for a 26-yard scoring dash in the third quarter to push the advantage to 34-6. Senior Chris Marshall’s 10-yard touchdown run finished it.

The Trojans improved to 6-3 overall, 4-2 in the KMAC. Centerburg hosts Fredericktown next week.

The Bulldogs slip to 4-5, 3-3 and host Danville in Friday night’s Devil-Dog clash.
