Nancy Wares, 83 of Mount Vernon, passed away on October 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born on September 20, 1941 to Richard and Lillian (Cutforth) Mendenhall in Pittsburgh, PA.
Nancy was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God. She volunteered at Starting Point in Mount Vernon. Nancy was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching the Olympics. Nancy loved and felt very connected to her Trinity Worship family and loved God very much. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and her many grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children Brett (Melanie) Wares of San Diego, CA, Troy (Breanna) Wares of Mount Vernon, OH, Kyle (Heather) Wares of Howard, OH and Karla (Keith) White of Galveston, TX; grandchildren Kaid, Jordan, Emma, Ashton, Tariq, Shane, Kyara (Adrien), Kevon, Kemuel, Keturah, Kenan, Killion, Keziah, Kishon, Kelaiah, Koa, Kaleb, Kamron, Kendra, Kyla, Koniah and Kenton; a brother Ted (Betsy) Mendenhall of Poway, CA and many extended family members.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Trinity Worship Center, 1051 Beech St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050. Visitation with family 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Celebration of Life at 6:00pm.
