Mary L. McCullough, 91, of Mount Vernon, OH passed away on September 28, 2024 at Centerburg Pointe. She was born on June 11, 1933 to Elmer L. and Elizabeth (Earl) Newton in Mount Vernon, OH.
Mary was a member of South Vernon United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, OH. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Mount Vernon, AMVETS and the VFW.
Mary is survived by her son James Hartsook of Mount Vernon, OH; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; a brother Don Newton of Mount Vernon, OH; a sister Nancy Beeman of Mount Vernon, OH and many extended family members.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Dwight E. Hartsook, her second husband Cecil McCullough, a daughter Margaret Moreland, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mary’s ashes will be interred at Ebenezer Cemetery in Mount Vernon, OH at a later date.
