Most of us, no matter our background or what we look like, will do whatever it takes to make a better life for our families.
We work and we sacrifice to provide for our children. We’re willing to pack up everything and move to put food on the table, to send our kids to good schools, or to live in a safe community.
But MAGA Republicans are trying to distract us by stoking division and fear, telling and re-telling what they know are hateful lies about legal immigrants.
These shameless Republicans – Trump, Vance and Moreno – know that they are spreading hateful lies about immigrants instead of working on solutions that bring hope and opportunity to American families.
Trump, in fact, successfully squashed comprehensive immigration legislation, widely supported by Republicans, because he didn’t want Biden to have a “win” so close to the election. How cynical and underhanded.
So, now the MAGA Republicans are using the same, old, tired playbook – trying to distract us by whipping up fear and division with lies that demean people who might look different.
We’re onto them and we’re not going to let these lies distract us. By joining together as voters, we can elect leaders like Sherrod Brown and other Democrats who believe in America and are committed to solving problems.
Make a difference by standing up and voting for a better future for our families and communities!
