Charles L. Beale, age 68, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 10, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Charles L. Beale Sr, and Jacqueline (Kibbey).
Charles graduated from Centerburg High School in the Class of 1974. He was a Columbus Firefighter and was proud of achieving the rank of lieutenant. Charles loved hunting, especially Deer and Turkey. One of his biggest hobbies was entering rough truck contests throughout the area. He also enjoyed painting and restoring cars, but his greatest joy was being around his grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years, Brenda Beale; daughters, Lindsey (Tim) Jensen, Emily (Jake) VandeBrake, Abby (Scott Zollars) Beale; grandchildren, Anna, Will, Kelsey, Ella, Cam, Cooper, Harper, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn and Rylee; sisters, Theresa Hyde, Melinda Muck, Brenda M. Beale; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Grant Long.
Along with his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Julie and Leo VandeBrake.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Damascus – Catholic Youth Summer Camp; 7550 Ramey Road, Centerburg, Ohio, 43011.
