Sondra J. Sears, 83, of Mount Vernon, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
She was born on January 2, 1941in Knox County and was the daughter to the late Robert and Edna (Beck) Baker.
Sondra was a member of Bennington Chapel of Licking County. She was a farm wife married to Clyde Sears. They both loved sports, especially Cleveland, and watching their grandchildren play.
Sondra is survived by her six children, Jeff (Mary Jane) Cline of Gambier, OH, Cassi Anders of Mount Vernon, OH, Doug Cline of Beaverton, MI, Mick Cline of Prospect, KY , Jeff Sears of Delaware, OH, Helen (Tim) Woodruff of Mason, OH, brothers, Bob (Deb) Sears, Dennis (Mary) Sears, and David Sears, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Sears, brother, Bill Baker, sister, Carol, father-in-law, Ralph, sister-in-law’s, Susan Roush and Susan Sears, brother-in-law, Carroll Sears.
The family is observing a private burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.
The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the services for the family.
