MOUNT VERNON – Join Knox Community Hospital for a free Doc Talk on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 6 p.m.
Dr. Laurie Mooney will discuss insomnia, its causes, and treatment options which include: medications, behavioral therapy, and sleep hygiene techniques.
This event is open to the community and will be held in the Knox Medical Center Education Resource Room, the one-story building on the left if you enter the KCH main campus, across from the main hospital building.
Dr. Mooney is the Sleep Medicine Physician at KCH.
She graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. She then went to Case Western Reserve University Hospital for her Residency in Cleveland.
She is on the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a focus on Sleep Medicine.
