Naomi Tosh Keller, age 87, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living. Naomi was born to Lexie and Erma Tosh in Caldwell County, Kentucky. She moved to Ohio at the age of 18 after a blind date with a private of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Francis “Bud” Keller. They were married April 19, 1955, in Mississippi and celebrated 65 years of marriage before Bud’s passing in 2020.
Naomi always helped on the farm and was most particular about her yard. She loved to freeze corn to eat later at family gatherings. Naomi retired from Aramark Food Service at Kenyon College after 35 years. She also worked cleaning dorms at OSU and dressing chickens.
Naomi is survived by two daughters, Deb Bigelow of Coshocton and Pam (Randy) Jones of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren Lacey (Chuck) Seville, Kay Leigh (Terence) Jones, and Jason Jones; great grandchildren Noah, Ava and Bella Seville, Mason Jones, Nathan and Jacob Jones; her sister-in-law Dimple Tosh; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Naomi was preceded in death by her infant daughter Patricia Keller; her siblings Virginia (Ronald) Harper, Leroy (Jean) Tosh, Johnny (Magdalene) Tosh, Delmer Tosh, Blondale (Bill) Brown, and Norris Tosh.
Friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home from 5-7pm. A service will take place, at the funeral home, on Saturday beginning at 10am with Rev. Larry Karnes officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
