FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Police Department will be hosting the annual Fredericktown Community National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The goal of this event is to promote community involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that our neighborhoods are organized and looking out for each other.

“The essence of this event is a gathering of the community, during the evening hours, where people can get to know each other and get to know police officers,” Police chief Tracey Myers said.

“Therefore, we have chosen to hold this event at Merrin Park beginning at 6 p.m. and concluding at 9 p.m.”

Below is a sample of some of the events that were made possible with these donations. The hope is to be able to continue all of this at our 2024 National Night Out.
