Linda Kay Seitz, age 76, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 20, 1947, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Geneva (Ault) Witzel.
Linda graduated from Cardington High School in the class of 1965 and married her husband Kenneth on September 17, 1966. She was a member of the South Vernon United Methodist Church. Linda collected Precious Moments Figurines, snowmen, and Longabarger Baskets. She enjoyed word puzzles, crosswords, euchre, bingo, and slot machines in Wheeling. Some of her favorite activities were making crafts and reading with her grandkids, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Seitz; daughters, Lori (David) Luna, Lisa Myers; grandchildren, Chad (Cassidy) Chadwick, Kelsey (Taylor) Snow and Lydia Luna; a brother, Stanley Witzel; great-grandchildren, Case Chadwick, Avery Snow, and Natalie Snow.
Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Janice Witzel.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service starting at 1:00 pm at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home: 619 E. High St. Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050 with Pastor Robert L. Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cardington, Ohio.
