MOUNT VERNON — It seems everyone — and everything — turned out to experience summer camp in downtown Mount Vernon.

July’s First Friday event featured activities for kids of all ages. Camp Mount Vernon highlighted archery, a giant slide, a dunk tank, and Touch-a-Truck in the activities zone on Public Square.

“Camp counselors” lined South Main Street, offering games and information on trains, bees, and services.

Live music and a bevy of food options rounded out the event. Check out the photos below for a full camping experience.
