HOWARD TOWNSHIP — A Knox Pages reader asked our newsroom, “Why is Earth being moved at Ohio Laborers Training Center?”
We asked and received an answer.
Executive Director of the Ohio Laborers Training Center Matt Flynn said the facility is expanding operations west of its main building.
Construction began June 3 and is expected to be complete by Aug. 27, he said.
Flynn said the land will be an asphalt lot, used for existing training exercises.
The 119-acre training center is a program for those interested in enhancing construction laborer knowledge through a variety of classes both in-person and online.
