Glenn A. Hawthorne, 79, of Centerburg passed away on Tuesday morning, June 18, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 13, 1944 in Huntington, WV to the late William and Jean (Johnson) Hawthorne.
Glenn honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam serving in Alaska. He was an over the road truck driver for many years. Glenn enjoyed old cars, especially street rods. He liked going to car shows and parades with his classic cars. Glenn was a member of the Good Guys Club. He was very proud of being a Dad to all girls.
Glenn is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Lynn M. (Pierce) Hawthorne; daughters, Holly (Chuck) Frabott of Cleveland, Kiki (Geoff) Gayer of Cincinnati; and Heather Hawthorne of Centerburg; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Megan, Sydney, Alexander, Charlotte, and Aidan; and great grandchildren, Candice, Riley, and Parker.
A private burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Columbus.
